Champions was founded in 1983 by Rita Santamaria in Houston, Texas. Rita started her real estate career in Plano, Texas having graduated with an education degree from Florida State University. Rita taught public school for only a couple of years before trying out her new career of real estate sales. She was asked to teach her first real estate class at a Community College in 1982 and her love of teaching and real estate came together which has given her the passion to grow Champions School of Real Estate into the National Pinnacle Award Winning School it is today. Recognized by fellow school owners belonging to the national group, RealtyU, Champions School has received the National Pinnacle Award for the last 3 years.

In addition to 6 brick and mortar campuses in the major Texas metropolitan areas of Dallas, Coppell, Houston, San Antonio and now Austin, the On-line Campus is growing faster than any other delivery method. Champions prides itself on offering courses that allow agents both new and experienced to get qualified information that will help grow the agent’s business. “When the agent makes money, it benefits everyone”, has always been Rita’s mantra.
