NEWS: Texas Real Estate Licensure Exams Available at Military Installations Worldwide

    Great news just came out of Austin: Military service members and their families or dependents can now take their Texas real estate agent, broker and inspector license exams on military installations across the globe! Per the Texas Real Estate Commission's announcement: AUSTIN (Texas Real Estate Commission) – Texas real estate sales agent, broker, and inspector licensure exams are now available at over 200 Pearson VUE testing centers on military installations across the globe for service members, spouses, dependents, and contractors with authorized base access. The exams can be taken by service members, spouses, dependents, and contractors with authorized base access. I am offering some friendly reminders to my colleagues and customers whom I know always want to do the right thing but sometimes we need a refresher on the basic “do not do” list. When negotiating contracts that bind a sale, option, lease or rental of any real property, a licensee shall use only the promulgated TREC contract forms with the exceptions of an agent representing herself as a principal, not as an agent or prepared by an attorney.
