1.  We are so excited to have you at Champions – what is it about Champions School of Real Estate that drew you in to join our team?I am a proud graduate of Champions School of Real Estate. I took all of my courses to get my real estate license at Champions in 2010. I made the decision to leave New Home Sales and get my license but not without a lot of anxiety and fear. I didn’t want to fail and it was hard to leave a position that had brought me so much success for 4 ½ years. The Champions Team made it easy. The career counselors were so friendly and positive and the instructors were so knowledgeable and believed me. I had such a positive experience that when the opportunity presented itself to join the team, there was no question in my mind that it was the right choice. I am part of a team that gives people the knowledge and tools to be successful in real estate. It’s truly an amazing atmosphere to work in.

2.  Tell us a little bit about your background and what brought you to your new role at Champions.

I have been in real estate for over 8 years, 4 ½ years in new home sales and almost 4 years as a licensed agent. I have developed a passion for building relationships and helping people. Guiding people through the buying process for all these years has been so rewarding. I have had financial success but more importantly I have made home ownership dreams come true. When I decided to look for a position that would allow me to stay involved with real estate and have a set schedule, I knew I wanted something that would give me the same reward as assisting buyers and sellers and also allow me to interact directly with people. After meeting Rita for the first time and hearing her story, I knew I found that and more as the Regional Marketing Representative. Not only was I excited about the opportunity to assist with marketing, I loved that everyone is a Career Counselor and gets to work directly with the students. I get to guide them through the licensing process, attend fun events, build relationships with Houston Brokers and Agents and market this amazing school all at the same time.

3.  Ok, finally – give me three things – little–known facts, random trivia, etc – that we’d be surprised to learn about you.

I am a Houston Texans fanatic, I am 6ft tall and I STILL love to wear 5” heels and I won a volleyball Conference Championship with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Go Runners!
