2. You’ve been with Champions nearly 4 years – what is it about CSRE that you’ve loved the most during your time here?

  • I love working with the Champions team both locally and statewide.   It’s like being a part of a big family and everyone has a genuine interest in you and your success within the company.   It leads to a very team oriented environment.   The staff and instructors are very professional and a pleasure to work with. It’s such a joy to come to work every day.

  • I look forward to working closely with Kim and furthering the future of Champions.  The leadership of Champions is always thinking what they can do for their students.  I’m so happy to be a part of Champions growth in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

4. Can you give us three or four things we may not know about you? (Fun facts!)

  • I’m a “coal miner’s daughter” – I just don’t sing very well!!
  • I played the French horn
  • I’m in the process of having my name registered with the Daughters of the American Revolution.
  • I’m a Grandma of six grandchildren but most people who know me already know that.  🙂  They are our pride and joy!!

2. You’ve been with Champions nearly 5 years – what is it about CSRE that you’ve loved the most during your time here?
  • I absolutely love the people!  From our students to our instructors to fellow Champions and Brokers, we sincerely care about each other and are working towards one common goal – growing the real estate industry in Texas.  One big, happy family!
3. Can you share a fun anecdote from your time here at CSRE?
  • On my birthday this year, Kim and the team hid in my office and jumped out wishing me a Happy Birthday when I walked in, which startled me and made me scream which made them laugh which almost made our Inspector students come running to protect us (as they told us later)!  Birthdays are very special here at Champions and are celebrated with balloons, confetti, flowers, chocolate and cake!

4. What are you looking forward to the most regarding your promotion and your new position?
  • I’m looking forward to getting to know our fabulous Austin team and working together to grow our presence in the Austin area.  I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this city!  Roy and I are looking forward to exploring the Austin area and making new friends and memories!
5. Can you give us three things we may not know about you? (Fun facts!)
  • Chocolate ice cream followed by salt and vinegar chips is amazing  –  try it ….  you’ll like it!
  • I’m originally from Canton, Ohio and worked for a family-owned software company for 28 years, starting in the Print Shop and working my way up to Accounting & Administrative Manager.
  • Love taking food tours and learning about the history of different cities that we visit.  Like to try new and unusual food – recently tried dolphin and baracuda, which was actually very good!
