Three Questions with Angie Carter-Thomas, our New Executive Assistant to the President!

We are so pleased to introduce Angie Carter-Thomas, Champions School of Real Estate’s new executive assistant to president Kim Dydalewicz!

Angie has joined us at our Dallas campus full-time after working part-time as a Saturday career counselor. In her new role, Angie will be working directly with Champions School of Real Estate president Kim Dydalewicz! Angie comes to Champions School of Real Estate from the education field, having spent the past seven years teaching in admissions and recruiting at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.

1.  We a​​re very excited to have you at Champions – what is it about Champions School of Real Estate that drew you in to join our team?

I started out as a part-time employee for Champions working only on Saturday’s. During this time, I have had to opportunity to meet and work with great people who have introduced me to a positive work environment which made me feel good about joining the team!

 

2.  ​Tell us a little bit about your background and what brought you to your new role at Champions.

“I have a background in Admissions and Recruiting in Higher Education. I recruited for my alma Mater, Delta State University (Go Fighting Okra!) for 7 years before relocating to North Dallas to recruit Healthcare Professionals for several major hospitals in Texas.”

 

3.  Share three things – little–known facts, random trivia, etc. – that we’d be surprised to learn about you.

“Fact 1- I am learning how to sew. I have made a few of my own clothes. ( I made the vest I wore to our Christmas Party this year J )

Fact 2- I love to fish. I don’t like touching the fish (or the bait) when they are alive, but once they stop moving, I will clean and cook them on the spot!.

Fact 3- I was 2006 Homecoming Queen of Delta State University and Ms. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. 2006.”
